Fishing Tips For Anglers

FISHING TIPS FOR ANGLERS

Hands up if you want to get an increase in fishing effort? Then , evidently you cannot go to your favourite fishing spot and expect to catch a lot of fish by just putting the bait. It takes a lot of things to get a good game.

Below are tips an angler can use in other to increase catches;

Carp Fishing

What are the secrets to carping success? The basic secrets are luck, respect, perseverance, confidence and watercraft. You might have all the top-notch gear but if you don't have the basics to use you will catch nothing.

Now, you may not have luck, there is no modern media that can change that, so don't moan about being unlucky just let it be.
A problem faced by anglers is that the modern media speculate that carping is easy. If you are after low doubles then it can be, but the stunning lumps certainly don't come crawling up the lines. Much hard work and effort should go into achieving success.
Pig headedness can be one of your biggest advantages, blank sessions should be used to learn, don't give up and move water, change baits and tactics.

Confidence is linked very closely with perseverance, confidence is most important when things are not going right - you need to trust in what you are doing. The magazines play their role here, day in and day out the same baits and the same tackle is assigned to captures; there is the possibility that a certain bait, but if you need that confidence the copy it.

Go get your bait - there are hundreds of them, but make sure you have confidence in your approach and stick with it.

Always changing means you never master anything and become average at everything.

Until then be lucky and remember the things that really matter

How to raise Flavour of a bait

Have you ever asked yourself why icing sugar tastes sweeter than granulated sugar. Well they're exactly the same compound and are not different types of sugar. The secret lies in the amount of surface area each one has. Whereas icing sugar is made up of tiny particles, granulated sugar has much larger particles. Icing sugar has a much greater surface area compared to granulated sugar. When it comes to the taste of each sugar, icing sugar interacts with most taste buds in our mouths which results in a stronger taste sensation.

Now it will be wrong to believe that everything we experience is the same for fish. In as much as the taste buds in a fish are different as a human tongue, they do work similarly. The taste buds of a fish are positioned around the inside of the mouth and on the outside too, on their barbels. They help a fish to respond the same way as humans.

Now how do we use this to our advantage? Note that we cannot fish with flavoursome dust on the hook. What we can do is to increase the surface area of a bait such as a piece of luncheon meat very easily without adding to its size. A very good product that has a stronger taste response as a result of its increased surface area is crinkle cut chips. A simple 90 degree crinkle cut cube of bait has nearly six times the surface area of the equivalent round ball. All you have to do is get a crinkle cut knife and cut your bait accordingly.

Don't forget that this method can be used across species and disciplines and applied to most situations.
